Flash dryers are the most economical for drying solids that have been de-watered or inherently have a low moisture content. Also known as "pneumatic dryers," the systems makes the simplest gas suspension dryers with the smallest footprint. A single operation provides mixing, heat transfer, and mass transfer to dry a solid. Residence time within the dryer is very short, usually less than three seconds. Feeds are;
• Moist, powdery, granular, or crystallized
• Wet solids discharged from centrifuges, rotary filters, and filter presses
• Small in particle size
• Reasonably dry, friable, and not sticky.

The paddle dryer is a high-speed horizontal indirect paddle dryer/cooler suitable for heating and drying slurry, filter cakes, pastes, powders and granulates. It has a patented jet rotor design that allows injection of a gas or liquid through the paddles into a thin layer of material as it spirals along the cylindrical wall of the unit. It can be designed for use with a variety of heat sources and has a vast number of applications. It's fast and very effective. The paddle dryer also processes heat-sensitive materials ranging from free-flowing solids to wet cakes and slurries.
Product feeding makes to the atomizer with a positive high pressure pump and automaization of feeding product occurs in counter-current drying air. Drying air is filtered and dried in a heater according to required inlet temperature, then heated air is given from air distribution channels in the upper part of the dryer. Air distributor is equipped with adjustable valves to provide optimum conditions in drying chamber. The lower part of the drying chamber is in conşcal shape. Inclination angle: 50°. In this way, the product in drying chamber can be discharged easily. The dried dust and air is passed to a bag filter where the dust is seperated from the drying air. Bag filters are frequently cleaned with compressed air. The dust are taken with a rotary valve at the bottom of bag filter and fresh air is given to atmosphere. Dust from the bag house filter is given to a cooler and transferred to a transport system with cold air. The dust and air is fed to a cyclone and final product is taken from a rotary valve under cyclone. The air delivered to the bag filter for cleaning. The entire plant is controlled from a panel equipped with PLC.
